On the 1st week of September 2015, a small team of industry and VPHi representatives will meet to discuss the structure of the Avicenna Alliance – the new Association for Predictive Medicine.
The Alliance pro tempore board will explore different formats for composition of the Association board and secretariat as well as consider items to be on the agenda for 2016. Also to be discussed will be the role of the VPH institute within Avicenna to ensure that it plays a key role in the direction of this new industrial chapter.
Chaired by Sebastian Rohde from Rohde Public Policy, the meeting will showcase what has been done so far to put in silico medicine on the agenda, pointing to recent work on the EMA Regulation, Medical Devices Regulation and recent developments in the US.
