The European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) and the Digital Health Society are partnering with 15 other European Organisations to hold the first ever high-level EU Health Summit to discuss the future of health at EU level on 29 November in Brussels. The aim of the Summit is to distill recommendations for the next European Commission and European Parliament to bring the necessary changes about.
Bringing together European leaders, policy makers and health stakeholders, the summit will take a fresh look into how Europe could develop and take the lead in areas such as research and innovation, health data and digital health, healthcare organisation and financing as well as health in all policies.
The proposals made in the Joint Communication will now be discussed in the European Parliament and the Council, and will contribute to discussions on connectivity at the upcoming Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit, to be held in Brussels on 18-19 October.
