On 12-13 December 2022, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations will hold a multi-stakeholder workshop focusing on the use of Digital Health Technologies in drug development and the related outcomes for patients.
The goal of the workshop is to create a roadmap for enabling the use of Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) in drug development, both inside and outside the European Union.
This initiative is of great relevance for the in silico community as the workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss ideas on how to optimize DHT development, evidence gathering for validation/qualification, and regulatory processes, as well as to elucidate some of the existing obstacles.
The event will be held virtually and will consist of both plenary and interactive breakout sessions, in order to provide stakeholders with a platform to share their perspectives and expectations, as well as to exchange learning and solutions.
