On 15 June 2017, the Future and Emerging Technologies Advisory Group has chosen two new co-chairs for the next two years. Professors Clivia Sotomayor and Dermot Diamond will replace Professor Jerzy Langer as former chair of the advisory group.
Professor Sotomayor is a Research Professor at Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA), focusing on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Barcelona, Spain. She will take the leading chair role in the first year, while for the second year, Professor Diamond will take the leading chair role. Professor Diamond works at the National Centre for Sensor Research in Dublin, Ireland.

The Future and Emerging Technologies Advisory Group (FETAG) is an advisory entity set up to ensure that the European Commission receives consistent and consolidated advice during the preparation of the Horizon 2020 work programmes, with respect to the Future and Emerging Technologies Programme.
