The European Commission published its long-awaited regulation package on AI, including new rules and actions to position Europe as a hub for trustworthy AI application. With regards to next legislative steps on the package, the European Parliament and the Member States in the Council will have to adopt their reports on the Commission's proposals for regulation during the ordinary legislative procedure.

The Proposal for a Regulation, also called the Artificial Intelligence Act, is currently open for feedback. All stakeholders can provide their input through this page by means of a written contribution by 23 June 2021. All feedback received will be summarised by the Commission and presented to the European Parliament and Council, accordingly being considered as input for the legislative debate.
