On 7 December 2017 Insigneo’s Executive Director and VPHi President, Prof Marco Viceconti, gave a seminar at the University of Sheffield on ‘the emerging regulatory framework for in silico medicine’.
During the seminar Professor Marco Viceconti presented a systematic review of the current regulations for medical software, stand-alone software as a medical device, and patient-specific predictive software.
Professor Viceconti also reviewed the emerging American and European regulatory frameworks in relation to the use of modelling and simulation results in a regulatory submission for a medical device.
A video of the presentation is now available on the Insigneo website.
