There are six projects linked to the Biomechanics group:
- Scholarship N. 8, funded by the In Silico World Project - Development of orthopaedic treatment models for in silico trials - Supervisor: Marco Viceconti
- Scholarship N. 13, funded by the OsteoCustom project - Biomechanical rationale and testing customized femoral prosthetic component for amputees - Supervisor: Luca Cristofolini
- Scholarship N. 14, funded by the OsteoCustom project - Anatomical-based design of customized femoral prosthetic components for amputees - Supervisor: Luca Cristofolini
- Scholarship N. 15, funded by the OsteoCustom project - Biomechanical and clinical evidences of vertebral metastases to predict the risk of fracture - Supervisors: Luca Cristofolini & Marco Viceconti
- Project K: Biomechanical evaluation of knee mechanical behaviour and interface stresses with a new concept of alignment for total knee arthroplasty (NEW-KNEE) - Supervisor: Luca Cristofolini
- Project O - competing for ministerial scholarship - In silico trials for predicting the risk of failure in joint replacements in patients with neurodegenerative co- morbidities Supervisor: Marco Viceconti
