The EIT ICT Labs Idea Challenge is a European innovation contest which offers prizes up to €40.000 to the best ideas on how to revolutionise the information and communication technologies of tomorrow.
EIT ICT Labs is a pan-European research-based innovation and education organisation founded on excellence. Its mission is to drive European leadership in ICT innovation for economic growth and quality of life. The EIT ICT Labs Idea Challenge is organized around 8 different categories, including also Health & Wellbeing, Smart Spaces, Cyber-Physical Systems and Future Cloud.
1st Prize: 40,000 €
2nd Prize: 25,000 €
3rd Prize: 15,000 €
In addiction to the prize, winners will also receive the support of experts from the EIT ICT Business development team, which will help them to develop a business model to bring the best innovative ideas to the market.
Submissions for the categories Cyber Security and Privacy, Internet of Things, Urban Life and Mobility and Smart Energy Systems will be accepted from September 1st until September 30th.
