Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program in Greece with Focus on VPH

University of Patras in Greece, provides a Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program strongly concentrated on VPH technology. Focus is given both on theoretical foundations and applied elements of biomedical engineering.

The Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program of the University of Patras is an historical international graduate program that has been recently re-founded towards recent trends and technology. Courses are given in English and students from Europe are welcome. 

Through the participating departments

i)  Electrical and Computer Engineering,

ii)  Mechanical Engineering,

iii)  Computer Engineering and Informatics,

iv)  School of Medicine,

students receive interdisciplinary technical education and training.

Apart from baseline biomedical engineering courses, one of the foci of the program is the virtual physiological human. Students are trained on Biomechanics, Biofluid dynamics, Modeling and Simulation, Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering, Rehabilitation Engineering and Medical Robotics.

The graduate program fosters collaboration with several research labs in Greece and Europe, where students can work on their MSc thesis and take advantage of state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Admission for the academic year 2018-2019 opens early in spring 2018.
