Scandinavian Physiological Society Annual Meeting

The Scandinavian Physiological Society Annual Meeting will take place in Oslo, August 26th – 28th, 2016. The venue is The University of Oslo, Blindern Campus (Georg Sverdrups hus)

The meeting will feature world-renowned plenary speakers and a diverse set of symposia, with a particular focus on topics within heart, skeletal muscle and neurobiology. The meeting will also include general-interest sessions on topics such as consciousness, super-resolution imaging and scientific publishing, and more specialized moderated poster sessions.

The social program includes a reception in the city hall and the conference dinner following a boat trip to the Viking Ship Museum.

Three prizes will also be awarded at the meeting:

  • Best Poster
  • The von Euler award (for young investigators)
  • The Carl Ludwig award (for best article in neurohumoral control)

The von Euler and the Carl Ludwig awards are awarded by Acta Physiologica, each winner will be awarded a cheque for 1000 Euros.
