The Computing in Cardiology 2020 will be held September 13-16, 2020 in Rimini, Italy. Computing in Cardiology (formerly Computers in Cardiology) is an international scientific conference that has been held annually since 1974. CinC provides a forum for scientists and professionals from the fields of medicine, physics, engineering and computer science to discuss their current research in topics pertaining to computing in clinical cardiology and cardiovascular physiology.
Attendees present and learn about leading-edge work at the interface of clinical practice, engineering, and basic research during three days of plenary, parallel, and poster sessions. The 250+ papers presented every year at CinC meetings are published in Computing in Cardiology, available freely here.
The city of Rimini is a dynamic, open, and easily accessible city situated on the northeastern Italian coast facing the Adriatic Sea, 120 km SE from Bologna. The city hosts a Campus with more than 5000 students of the University of Bologna, the oldest University of the Western World. Rimini has an extraordinarily rich history: Ariminum was an important Roman city and crossroads of three main Consular roads in Italy. Today, being a famous European tourist locations and seaside resorts, Rimini also offers everything from top level establishments to traditional, small local restaurants and pubs, offering hospitality and quality food for every budget.
The conference venue is located at the Rimini Palacongressi, one of the largest and most innovative congress facilities in Italy. The Palacongressi is set in an extensive urban park, in a perfect eco-friendly context within walking distance from both the city center and the seaside.
The organizing committee, which includes both academic and company representatives, is currently working to organize an exciting and enjoyable meeting. The focus of the Sunday Symposium will be on Technological Innovations in Cardiac Therapies. Social programs will be focused on activities characterizing Rimini and the seaside. The Gala Dinner will accompany our attendees in Federico Fellini’s world.
