The 2015 Computing in Cardiology Conference will be held in the Nice, France, the heart of the French Riviera, from September 6-9. The meeting is affiliated with the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis and CNRS, which will host the event.

The Conference
Computing in Cardiology provides an International forum for scientists and professionals from the fields of medicine, physics, engineering and computer science, and has been held annually since 1974. The main topics include Computerized ECG, Cardiovascular Imaging, Electrophysiology, Modeling & Simulation, Cardiovascular System, Cardiovascular Mechanics and Medical Informatics. The scientific sessions include oral and poster presentations. All accepted papers will be indexed by El Compendex, available to subscribers on the IEEE Xplore website, and will be full-text searchable and freely available to all on the CinC website.
Preliminary Conference Schedule
The conference will begin on Sunday afternoon 6th September with a special symposium of invited speakers related to the topic of Multiscale Computing in Cardiology. A reception will be offered at the end of the symposium. The scientific sessions will begin on Monday morning. In the afternoon, the traditional social program will take place, with the discovery of old town secrets, “vieux port” treasures and original tastes. The afternoon will end with the gala dinner in a marvellous place and with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Sessions will continue on Tuesday, and will be concluded on Wednesday afternoon.
Rosanna Degani Young lnvestigator Award
The conference has instituted an annual award to encourage young investigators and provide a living memorial to Rosanna Degani. The candidates are required to submit both an abstract and a full manuscript, written as directed in the author's kit, by April 15th 2015. All valid applications will result in a 50% reduction in the registration fee, and the four finalists will obtain free registration plus some travel support. PhysioNet / Computing in Cardiology Challenge 2015
As for the previous years, there will be an exciting PhysioNet Challenge in co-operation with PhysioNet, part of the NIH sponsored Research Resource for Complex Physiologic Signals. The 2015 challenge will be “Reducing false arrhythmia alarms in the ICU”. Participants wishing to be eligible for Challenge awards will need to submit an abstract describing their work on the Challenge no later than April 15th 2015, and must attend the conference to present their work.
